the bike has less than 3,000 miles in 6 years of its existence. Good or bad folks? On the other hand, another same bike (2003 model) has over 25,000 miles. Similar in pricing. Which would be a better buy?

Hi does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I'm using a cassette tape adapter connecting my iPod to my car stereo (b/c FM tuner type works horribly). But I'm getting an interference when the engine's on...when I accelerate the pitch goes higher, when idling there's low humming. Engine off...
