    Next week my family will be traveling to Cancun, Mexico. Do you know if there are any prepaid cell phones that we can buy (in Mexico) for a cheap price? We want to be able to call each other without using our US based cell phones which would cost a ton of money in an international country.

    No. Even if you unlocked an iPhone, it still would not be compatible on Verizon Wireless because......(all this technical stuff that won't really prove anything, but yeah, an iPhone won't work on Verizon)....
