    My dog keeps licking the cut on his leg. It keeps healing but he opens it up again by licking it. I have heard dogs lick their own wounds to heal them. Is that true? I applied antiseptic and put some gauze on it for now. It's not a bad wound but I think he likes the taste of the blood.
