    Cant connect Motorola Phone to Computer?

    whenever I plug my Motorola Cliq into my Mac, it begins to charge but no USB icon pops up. Also, my computer does not show that my phone is plugged in. help! i had an old Cliq and it worked, why doesnt this one?
