    Why is Supernatural season 7 constantly being taken off air for weeks at a time?

    It finished on Dec 2nd 2011 and didn't return until Jan (understandable as it's Christmas) but then only came back for two episodes before another break of 3 weeks when it returned for 3 more episodes before yet another break, this time for a month! Apparently it's not back until March 16th...

    Why haven't American sports gained more of a following outside the States?

    I've always found it curious that homegrown American sports like American Football, Baseball and Basketball haven't gained a big following outside the States especially considering other elements of American culture such as movies, television, music, fashion and even food have become mainstays...
