lots of words but very little helpful info. 1st check for a leaky water pump. 2nd any white smoke from the exhaust? (blown head gasket) 3rd any water in oil? 4th leaking freeze plug. the waters going somewhere.

not sure what you mean by goes dead. if it's cranking real slow it could be a bad starter or a timing issue. if it's cranking fine but won't start it might have a faulty ignition module, cam sensor or crank sensor depending on what it is equipped with
