I have heard people say it before, but I cannot find any definition of the term online.

I am planning on being pre-med, biochemistry major. Which language would more useful and look better on a medical school application or resume? I have a greater interest in Chinese, but Arabic speakers are, and even more so in the future, in greater demand relative to the number of speakers.
