Another thing to consider is the cliffhanger ending. There should at least be a back door so that if a series isn't renewed within a certain amount of time that there is an ending with closure. Incidently, I have to wonder if Sonic Satam's cliffhanger ending was that bad. I mean in my mind...

I like the bright, neon and chipper future it protrays. I like the neon designed technology and the colorful, strange alien people who live in it. It's a break from the grimdark futures of other sci-fi shows like Battlestar Galatica(2005) and Blade Runner.
