    1998 dodge ram 1500 5.9 motor when pulling a car trailer motor noise?

    When pulling a car trailer as you apply gas to pick up speed you hear like a chatter noise but when your driving without the trailer it seems to not have the noise it has 140000 K miles on it an well kept up with fluid changes, What can that noise be?

    I have a 2000 dodge neon the mechanic says the timing is out do i need to

    replace the head? There is no water in the oil and no smoke threw the exhaust, would I need to replace the head?
