I plan on getting an ipod touch 4g sometime this week... I was wondering what the best case type is to buy for it? I'm bound to drop it a couple of times (well hopefully not..) but what's the most protective type? Are there cases that have grip on them so it doesn't slip out of your hands?

Is it true they only play mp4 format? :-) Is it best to reduce the video aspect size before putting videos on it? I have some videos that are 1024p... Hmmm. Any advice regarding the best video format would be helpful.
