    Would you consider curling an actual sport?

    So I was watching the Winter Olympics and curling competitions were on, is this a joke? is curling really a sport? For those of you unaware what curling is, basically players hurl a piece of granite on ice, and 2 other players sweep away any particles of ice that may slow down the rock, seriously.
