I have an iPhone 3GS and I charge it at night when I sleep, I put on vibrate but I hate getting notifications from all of the apps I have and I dint want to turn those notifications off. Is there some sort of way to charge my iPhone while it is turned off. I charge it from the wall.

I have a Lg Versa on Verizon wireless and the phone turns off buy its self every five minuets, always freezes up and i can never do anything with it and my contract end date is on 6/20/11 and i want to upgrade my phone but don't want to pay a early termination fee. any ideas???
