most likley its the valve lash. if you just replaced the upper end you perhaps didnt adjust the valve lash correctly.

dose the 2010 cobalt coup have a timing chain or belt? it has the 2.2L ecotec vvt dohc eingine. im thinking about buying one of these but nobody seems to know the answer to this question.

sludge? i know the 3.0L in toyota cars are. like the toyota avalon. but is this the same eingine or is this a diffrent eingine. i know toyota didnt make very many 3.0L trucks. should i be concerned about sludge in this particular motor?? or am i being misinformed???
