i need to change my chat system from filebase to database. please any idea.

i am working o a WAMP server. my first codes were executing well. while some are showing on the browser. for instant if i execute a file register.php. the codes popup instead of required outcome. some people suggest that i use the standard .php which is saving my files with a .php extension...
