It's not a Google phone, it's an HTC phone (and could be any phone for that matter) that uses an OS (Android) developed by Google. I believe the OS uses the Linux kernel. That said, at this moment, it's a wait and see as to how good Android is and how well the product (i.e., the G1) implements it.

With such a huge fan base install as GTA has, I doubt they'll stop making them, even if they do start becoming more repetitive. Just look at Madden, they release a new game every year with updated stats, cool new menus and a few new gimmicks, and there's usually a line to pick it up the night...

Appsliprotate.prc and statusbarlib.prc are both only installed into RAM and not ROM. They were not part of the update to the SD card and they were files that P1 designed to work with the T3. The two files must be installed at the same time and if done correctly - they will force a soft reset...
