    Can you use stereo headphones on a GMRS type radio?

    Is it possible to use typical headphones on a modern day GMRS type radio? We have an event this weekend and remembered how hard it was to hear each other last season and are now looking into some single ear earpiece option. Our local electronic stores either don't carry specific radio earpieces...

    Is a 50mm F/1.8 prime lens acceptable for wide angle weather photography use?

    I have a Nikon D80 with the kit lens 18-55mm F/4.8 and the 55-200mm F/5.6 but I'd really like to get something faster for all around wide angle use but my passion is shooting time lapse storms especially around dusk. Is the 50mm prime good for that as well?
