I need help identifying an old comic hero with some terrible details: It took place in a future world with large bubbled cities, possibly under the sea or in antartica. He fought robots that were taking over the world. Would love some help here.

Would I include commas in the following sentences (please cite a source to help me out): "The book Etc. by John Smith is good" "I love Catch 22 by Joseph Heller" What I'm getting at is whether the author of a book is restrictive, or just how to punctuate that first sentence in general.

Looking for good books on Alexander the Great; ideally during his campaign in Bactria. I've read and enjoyed Into the Land of Bones and I'm looking for scholarly works rather than, say, some glossy overview of the guy. Many thanks.
