    Can somebody explain why the media is making such a big deal about the Jackson death?

    It sure wasn't as big a deal when John Lennon was murdered. And Jackson is hardly anywhere near the important figure to music that Lennon was Jackson wasn't even good enough to shine Lennon's shoes Comments?
