A watch battery has about 3 volts. A Car battery has 12 volts. Why is it that you cannot add four watch batteries together (3 X 4 = 12) to start a car? Same with flashlight batteries. Some flashlight batteries are 12 volt batteries but you cannot start a car with them. Why?
