    What were the contributions to Western civilizations from the ancient Greeks?

    ,Philosophy for a start and also the foundations of democracy,Just look at Socrates and Plato. Then in the literary world there's Homer and Aristophanes.

    Have you read R.K. Narayan' s books?

    He wrote a series of books centered around an Indian town named Malgudi. Did you wish for more as I do? To me they where truly a joy to read.
