Not a bad return for the duo, but I was a bit let down by the simple nature of the mystery. In the 4 previous films, there's always been a decent mislead as to what was really going on. Here, the murderer is pretty obvious from the get go and they don't even do much to make you consider others...
One sloppy thing I noticed now that I've rewatched the episode: the artists didn't remove/alter the Foot/Three-Toed Dragon symbol in the Shishos or Saki, which seems uneccesarily inconsistent. Why is Saki wearing the symbol upside-down before his turn to the dark side? Why does his armor still...

Of course it can. It's been tried in the U.S. a few times. The problem is that most of these 'mature' CGI films have basically bombed at the box office, which makes American film producers wary at the prospect of making any more. The prevailing attitude in the U.S. is that animation = family...
