    Does a parent have to take me to my NYS road test?

    I am 16 years old and have had my permit in NYS since December. My road test is schedualed for the 29th and I do not want either of my parents to take me, as I literally detest them both and additionally, they would both make me nervous as the place is an hour away... Links and the legit law...
