Does this phone have its own GPS receiver so that I can just download maps and store it? Or do I need a data plan or log on to the internet to get my location?

I'm really nervous; this is my first time. How is the South Avenue test site? Are the roads narrow, bumpy, and inclined? Are there lots of traffic? Any tips for me to help me pass? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks.
