    Is there a name for the hanging rope-thing used to delineate queues in banks, theatres, etc?

    They are often red--velvet maybe(?)--and are attached every few feet or so to a standing metal stanchion. In fact, if you google image "stanchion," you will see what I'm talking about. Is there a name for the entire thing?

    its brand new and it dosent turn on it charges and then i try to turn it on but it dosent turn on
