    How do I get my external hard drive to work with my media player?

    I recently bought both a Sony USB media player and a Samsung 1tb external hard drive, and I was hoping to connect my hard drive to it so I could easily watch movies but it only shows a few of my files. Can anyone help with this? The directories! I didn't even think of that! Thanks!!
