My Toyota Celica GT-S 2004 When switching gears my car revs up from 3 to 5rpm then goes back to 2 when switching gears.... I want to know what the problem is because i don't think it should be doing that. Also there is a strong burning smell coming out of the engine once i get out of the car...

To be honest give it to the guy that offers you the most. This type of cars are usually really hard to sell and i would just go with the best offer given. Alot of people buy cars like this to fix them up and sell them again for an income or for there kids because 1 there cheap and 2 the fixes...
