    can I take good pictures with my DSLR in a dark club without using an external flash?

    I have to take some pictures in a club for an event, I dont have an external flash, just the internal flash from my CANON 40D, I am using an canon EF 28-105mm 1:3.5-4.5, how can I get the best pictures and should I use any of the specific programs?
