I live in Minnesota and i am buying a Sea Stinger Pole Spear within the next few days. I need to know, what fish can i spear in minnesota? I know i can spear carp because that's gonna be my main load of spearing, but what else can i stick my pole through?

Title says most of it. I want to buy the spear as a WHOLE THING so it will never break. I say steel because it is heavy while being tough (Steel is 8 out of 10 on Moh's hardness scale, iron is 4). I am probably wanting to spend $50 or less so if i have to go with iron i guess i could. Mainly...
