    A family plan will be cheaper. As long as someone does not over use the minutes! Ether way he can cut you off if he thinks your hogging the minutes or spending more time on the phone than you need too.

    If that's a Verizon phone give back to your friend and get your money back. You can not use a Verizon phone with AT&T or T-mobile.
