    How can I boost my wireless from my router.?

    My virgin media router has been fine but lately the reception around my house is not all good, inc 3 laptops and my xbox, I was wondering if there's any settings I can chance to increase the signal etc. Or any tips thanks. PS... Where is a network card located in a laptop ?
