Go back to the shop--the problems are too many to mention here. No one can guess at what it may be. Stop wasting time and get it to the shop that rebuilt and installed the motor. Any GOOD shop should have given you a warranty for that motor--it should be fixed for free.
Clearly it is a sign to get your car thoroughly checked by a good mechanic. It can be caused by any number of causes.---usually lack of maintenance or parts that have gone bad. Good luck.
Well--take the time to read the owners manual--it has a page about CARE FOR THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR. That should answer the questions. How many rusty Cadillacs do you see around your area?? Ask another owner if HE has rust.
