A couple things jump to my mind right away: It would be good, I think, to specify the 80's and 90's as the golden age of animation ON TV, and you better have good examples to back that up. The golden age of animation in general would probably be in the 30's and 40's, with Disney and such...

The only thing that really bothered me about this episode was the fact that Peter and Lois were making fun of Brian for dating a fifty-year old woman when they, themselves, are in their mid to late 40s.

Masters of the Universe 2K version ended with a cliffhanger, with the Masters defeating the Snake Men. The third season could introduced Hordak and the Horde and maybe She-Ra. But that isn't going to happen.
