Actually, I do think American cell phone rates are much lower for both data and voice than the Europeans. I wonder if the Europeans get the high end phones for free after carrier subsidizing is due to the higer monthly rates.

That has nothing to do with Flash. You need a video player that can read whatever format movie file is using. If the movie file uses a format that is not compatible with the default one on the Fascinate---which I know is an enhanced one by Samsung---there are many you can find in the Android...
