    why did the subwoofer in my car blow? was it because of the amp?

    hey guys my 800Watt 12inch kenwood subwoofer blew just recently , it was hooked up to a 2-channel 240watt sony xplod amp, with all the correct wiring .. im not sure what went wrong , im going to get a new sub this time about 1200watt subwoofer
