    I just activated my new Verizon phone; when will my old one be deactivated?

    I upgraded my phone through the "New Every 2" thing on Verizon's site and got my new phone in the mail today. I activated it and everything is working properly. The Verizon site only lists my new phone as "my device," but my old phone is apparently still active. When will my old one stop...

    If I change my Verizon subscription and renew it, does that count as

    canceling my old plan? What I mean is, will I be charged for "canceling" my previous plan that hasn't run its course if I change my current plan and re-subscribe for another 2 years? I'm still staying with Verizon, and my new plan will be costing me more monthly so I assume they won't charge me...
