This is going to be my first touch screen...

I would go for the myTouch slide. If it's anything HTC has gotten partly right it's that the capacitive screens aren't that bad at all and you always have a hardware keyboard to fall back on. I think you'll be totally fine with the Slide, it's got plenty of ram and the Espresso interface is snappy.

So when a call comes through it's not automatically routed to the headphones being used. I've taken off my headphones, put them down and left somewhere with my phone; it rings and I answer, but the headphones are still within connection distance and the call is automatically forced though that...

In a sense they are. HSDPA is a subset of UMTS that allows for higher data rates. But they are both WCDMA systems (Code Division Multiple Access) versus GSM which is a TDMA system (Time Division Multiple Access). Under GSM you have GPRS (2G) and EDGE (2.5G). I know, I know, crazy to keep...

American Dad - "Pulling Double Booty" - Talkback [11/16]

I think it's Platoon. Probably based on Willem Defoe's death scene:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ue8VS-bcj88&feature=related although that uses the similar sounding Barber's "Addagio For Strings".

    Sesame Street References in Cartoons

"Missionary: Impossible" contains probably my favorite instance of this, when Homer is hiding in the church to escape the PBS pledge drive mob, and a trash can containing Oscar the Grouch and Elmo comes smashing through one of the stained-glass windows... Oscar: Give us the money! Elmo: Elmo...

Creator Driven Toons? Or Toy Driven?

It's a bit of conundrum. One strange venture where the line was crossed was Batman Beyond. Batman Beyond was initially spurred on by Hasbro, who wanted Warner Bros. to create a futuristic Batman series, Batman Tomorrow, so they could make a new toyline that was the same-old, same-old. But it...
