The n97 might be the last high end s60 device nokia releases. s60 is currently in the process of being relegated to lower end phones before finally being put out to pasture. Symbian foundation phones from nokia are expected by years end.

True, however, my point was that even after the N97 was released with much criticism, they went ahead and released it broken and torn anyway.
