    The answer it's YES, you can buy a NEXTEL PHONE UNIT that has the Direct Talk feature available in the phone unit itself. You don't need NO PLANS from NEXTEL although you will a need a BLANK SIM to access the feature. Direct Talk only allows transmit ions up to 5 miles depending on many factors...

    I just got a blackberry from nextel but i have boost mobile why cant i get on

    Because 8350I it's made to work with the Blackberry BIS with Nextel, BOOSTMOBILE doesnt have that option in their IDEN units AS OF TODAY, so you only bet to fix it it's to rewrite the service books, I would suggest to search for a term called BOOSTBERRY on ebay

    Nextel/Boost Which one is better the i9 or the i890 ?

    I personally NEVER liked i9 simply because it's too fragile to carry on, BUT I will tell you 1 thing, i9 70% of the time WILL BREAK something. I have not tried the new i890 BUT IT LOOKS have been built for better handling and tough use.
