    Help with math problem- arguing with daughter!!?

    My daughter has a math problem(Simplfy 26 - 0.7). I said to just subtract 0.7 from 26 which would be 25.3 but she says that is not how to do it but she can't remember what they did in class. Can anyone help settle this? What else could you do? Thanks!

    I need help with my child's math home work....I forgot how!?

    Here are the problems: 1) r/2=8 solve for r 2) x/10 = 1/5 solve for x Once I see how to do these again...I can help her with the others! Thanks!
