    I know someone that has one and they said it only gets 32mpg on the highway, so you could definitely do better gas wise. I know the Chevrolet Cobalt gets 37 mpg on the highway, vs. the Civic's 35.

    That is a pretty good deal. I paid after taxes for my 2006 Saturn Ion 3 coupe 11k two months ago. My sister just got a 2007 Civic EX and after taxes it was above 15k, so if you paid 13k before taxes you got a brand new Civic for what my sister paid for a used one.

    Personally, I like the way the Pontiac G6 looks more than the Mazda. I know someone with one and she absolutely loves it, and I read an article saying that it had above average reliability for it's class. You can also get a performance version of it or a convertible.
