The bad thing about AT&T getting the E71 is that they might crack down on unlocked E71 users that are using it with a $15 data plan. The phone will be in AT&Ts system so they will recognize unlocked ones being used on the network. AT&T will probably require a $30 data plan for their version...

Has nothing to do with the access point, it's the OS and if the phone is carried by ATT. This is from ATT's web site.

No there's a specific app that mimics the E71's contact search from the home screen, where you just start typing and it brings up names in your contact list without having to enter the contacts application. Dunno if it works on S60v5 or not.
