    Will a brand new Sidekick 08 function normally without a data plan on the

    T-Mobile network? I'm interested in buying a new one on eBay. I used to have one and when I deactivated the data plan, almost all of the phone's functions stopped working. I want one again, and I want to know if this still happens or if it will happen with a new phone? Thanks :)
