Ive heard recently about the new Bold 9780 launching with OS6 but is the previous 9700 getting it?

Im curious is the lock key (on top of phone) or */A key Supposed to lock AND turn off the screen or just lock it? with mine it'll lock and then dim-out after 10 seconds. But ive seen others where it'll do both. What does yours do? i hope this isn't confusing...

Is the "LOCK KEY" on top of the phone supposed to "TURN OFF" the screen in addition to locking the phone? mine just locks and was wondering "IF AND HOW" it can be set to turn the screen off. thx 10 poiints to answer!!

Hey there bold users, im wondering if theres a Setting or a Key to switch off the screen? Now i know about the "Stand By" and "Timeout (where i wait 10sec then it shuts off)" but is there a setting or app to just turn the screen off immediately? p.s. i hope this isn't confusing! Thanks alot...
