Is it for riding on road or for doing tricks and jumps?
For simple riding then get a bigger frame - perhaps a 19" frame.
If he will want to do some 'off-roading' then a slightly smaller frame will allow him to lower the saddle so it doesn't keep hitting him in the backside. So maybe a 17" frame...
I used to bloody love watching Robot Wars and Craig Charles doing his 'Close all the windows and lock all the doors - it's time to rumble on Robot Wars!' stuff. And all the 'roboteers' who think they stand a chance with Phillipa Forrester/the other one whose name I can't remember.

Can't see how it's to protect it. For two reasons - fristly, wood work drills don't have the paint, so why just masonry drills; and secondly, a masonry drill is for drilling into stone, so I presume it's quite tough already and a...
