My computer had some issues with an update and when it came back on I had to reinstall Chrome. When I reinstalled, it never asked me if I wanted a desktop shortcut, so now I don't have one. How do I get it back?

Will someone please tell me? I know that college students aren't supposed to be paid. I'm aware that it's against the rules. I'm not opposed to there being some type of punishment for it (Like making the player pay it back? Plus interest?) But what I don't get is how people keep talking about...
