no that would be a very degrading thing for you to do to them and you shouldn't assume they will be like that. treat them like people.

leave some chopped carrot and lettuce in a pile int he garden and let it get comfortable eating in your garden, if you remain in the garden but a bit away from the rabbit whilst it eats then it will start getting use to you being there then over time get a little closer then maybe it will eat...
