I was just walking through my local market and saw smoked rainbow trout all through the deli section. I want to buy some next time but how do you eat it? Would love some ideas.

Every time I try and copy and paste something from a layer, it creates a new layer with the copied image transparent. The blend mode of the new layer is normal and the opacity and fill is set to 100%. What is going on? I am on the right layer and I am copying a section of the image I want - it's...
