a bit of a grey area if you ask me... must be to do with how many instruments you're using... as in two instruments for 3 mins rather than 4 for 3 mins will variate the midi size... whether it'll play it is still hit and miss...
Sending files does not always work witht the windows built in infrared browser thingy... but from my experience... it has always worked with nokia pc suite... (if you ain't got it... go to http://www.nokia.com/ where you can download it for free... though it is like 40-50MB!)
Yes it can, as it is too a 60 series phone... just a newer version of the software... takes *.sis files... but you get a package with it... which is a little different to the older nokia suites, but does the same job...
When I had my 7210 I used to get that problem... I think the reason was because the midi file was too long... making it too big to open...
I'm saying this... because if i had a file that wouldn't open... I'd take it into cubase and chop it down to about a minute rather than 3... and it'd work...
Is this the version specifically for the 6600? (displayed horizontally so the IR bit is a the top) As i only think they've done that with version 1.32... You can get a demo of it from the official website... but you have to restart it every so often...

So, I'm selling my home. It's been a bloodbath, but what can you do?
I'm including most of the big stuff with the home so it will be partially furnished: beds, gym equipment, lcd tv.
I have a nice $1,000 Yamaha keyboard piano which I think would definitely make a mark on prospective buyers...
