I am thinking about getting Honda Civic and I am debating on whether to get the 1996-2000 or 2001-2005 model. Is there any significant changes between the 2 different models besides the looks? Which model do you suggest I get if I will be customizing it (body kit, exhaust, etc.)?

I would go with the newer car. You can always modify it later on! You are going to get more life out of a newer car and it will last longer for you. Buy the new one and save up some more money. Next year you can throw some dubs, spoiler, and maybe a new paint job on it. Good Luck!

I find that trucks last longer than sedans. A truck is more rugged and you can beat the hell out of it. Don't get a civic man, those things are lame!
