    I need some new books to read?

    Rosemary Laurey's Vampire series. There are five books. Very adult. Susan Sizemore is another great author to try. Nora Roberts writes some great paranormal books aimed at adults. Hope this helps!

    Does anyone like V.C. Andrews books besides me?

    I'm 22 and have been reading her for years. Not sure I have a favorite but I enjoyed the Flowers in the Attic series as well.

    I'm not sure what you meant by wanting to read without thinking. My suggestions for a good read on holiday: Little Women (it's a classic) Summer Sisters by Judy Blume Nicholas Sparks -any of his books are good Sarah Dessens' books
